Privacy Policy
This is a working draft, written to match the data-handling commitments described on our Trust page. It has not been reviewed or approved by counsel and should not be relied on as CoverScore's final, binding privacy policy. It will be replaced before launch.
1. What we collect
A Free Report needs only the input you give it — a ZIP code, an email address, or a product identifier. A Deep Report may add documents, photos, or questionnaire answers you choose to provide. We do not collect data passively or from third parties without your action.
2. How we use it
To compute your score and confidence band, to save your profile between visits (once you provide an email), and to surface the free and paid options that could close a gap. We do not use your data to train models for other users' benefit, and sensitive editions (Health, Data & Privacy) never reach a commercial partner.
3. Who can see it
The matrix on our Trust page states this exactly, by role and by edition. In short: you, always; anyone else, only if you explicitly choose it, and never for Health or Data & Privacy.
4. Your rights
Export everything, any time, in a machine-readable file. Delete your profile and every score computed from it in one action. Revoke any access you've granted — an advisor, a household member, a partner handoff — immediately, without affecting your own copy.
5. What we never do
Sell, rent, or syndicate your data to insurers, brokers, or anyone else. Let Health or Data & Privacy data reach a commercial partner under any arrangement. Show you a number we cannot source from published data or a published rubric.
